ヤマトホールディングス株式会社・ヤマト運輸株式会社にて、Kuroneko Innovation Fund(CVC) ・新規事業開発 ・ 新規技術開発 ・ スタートアップM&Aを一貫して担当。2018年から大阪商工会議所と大阪工業大学が立ち上げた「Xport」のメンターとして、シリコンバレー創発コミュニティを軸にスタートアップ、企業等の人材育成に携わる。2004～2020年までパナソニック株式会社、2014～2018年にシリコンバレーにてCVCと新規事業開発に従事。バックグラウンドは技術者で、通信、半導体の研究開発、事業に従事。1998年～2004年は、NTTエレクトロニクス株式会社で半導体のエンジニア。

Takaaki Adachi is the executive officer and is in charge of KURONEKO Innovation Fund (CVC), New Business Development, New Technology Development, and Start-up M&A at Yamato Holdings Co., Ltd. and Yamato Transport Co., Ltd. As a mentor at the Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry/Xport since 2018, he is involved in human resource development for startups and companies with a particular focus on the Silicon Valley community. Before joining Yamato, he started his career as a semiconductor engineer at NTT Electronics Corporation from 1998 to 2004, and then worked for Panasonic Corporation until 2017, while being involved in CVC and new business development in Silicon Valley in 2016. He is an engineer with a background in research and business development of telecommunications and semiconductors.
