In this article, we’ll take a look at the field test conducted at Escon Field HOKKAIDO using autonomous robots from Yours Technologies (hereinafter “Yours”), a portfolio company of the KURONEKO Innovation Fund.

Held on May 29, 2026, as part of the sponsored event “Kuroneko Night Game,” this initiative aimed to fuse the future of logistics and entertainment by integrating Yours’ advanced robotics technology.

■ New Customer Experiences and Technology Demonstrations Set Against the Backdrop of Ballpark Events

On the day of the “Kuroneko Night Game,” we distributed promotional items using Yours’ autonomous robots inside the packed stadium.

Around our booth, visitors of all ages had the chance to receive promotional items from the robots, making the event a huge success. We attracted the attention of many people throughout the stadium, and the event went beyond simply showcasing technology to provide an opportunity for visitors to feel a closer connection to the robots.

■ Selecting Driving Areas in Highly Congested Environments and Identifying Real-World Challenges

In addition, on May 30 and 31, we conducted a field trial in areas and during time periods where congestion was expected during the matches. By operating the robots in environments with high foot traffic, we identified optimal navigation routes during peak congestion and pinpointed real-world operational challenges based on actual on-site traffic patterns.
