Invested in Watt Co., Ltd., Provider of Indoor Delivery Automation Solutions.

Yamato Holdings Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and Executive Officer: Toshiyuki Sakurai), through the KURONEKO Innovation Fund II (hereinafter “KIF II”)(Operator: Global Brain Corporation), has made an investment in WATT Co., Ltd.(Headquarters: Republic of Korea; CEO: Jaewon Choi), a developer of autonomous robots capable of traveling between floors of a building.

WATT is a startup that develops and utilizes autonomous robots capable of traveling between floors of a building, providing indoor delivery automation solutions. These autonomous robots developed by WATT deliver packages from a building’s entrance to the front door of the receiving customer. WATT is also developing a proprietary system that recognizes the building’s interior layout in real time and enables a robotic arm to autonomously operate elevator buttons and get on and off elevators.

In collaboration with Yamato Transport Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Seiichi Awa), a subsidiary of Yamato Holdings, WATT conducted a demonstration from August 2025 to December 2025 at three large condominium buildings in the Kanto region, utilizing its autonomous robots capable of traveling between floors of a building. This demonstration successfully confirmed that the robots safely navigated the buildings and that the system provides convenience when receiving packages.

KIF II has decided to make this new investment in WATT based on the results of this joint demonstration, as well as WATT’s outstanding technological development capabilities and the anticipated synergies with the Yamato Group’s last-mile delivery operations. Through this investment, the Yamato Group aims to actively support WATT’s business expansion in Japan and build a new logistics model that enhances the convenience of package delivery for residents of large-scale condominium buildings.
