KURONEKO Innovation Fund has invested in Metro Weather Co., Ltd. (Kyoto; CEO – Jun-ichi Furumoto), a company which develops Doppler LiDAR high-performance compact wind observation sensors.

By incorporating Metro Weather Co., Ltd. into the KURONEKO Innovation Fund portfolio, we expect to acquire a deeper knowledge of weather observation and the use of wind condition data that we can leverage to provide new value, for example by creating new modes of efficient transportation utilizing drones.
